Pine Ridge, South Dakota is home to the Lakota people. Nestled in the shadow of Mount Rushmore, there are so many tragic stories of loss and suffering. But in spite of this, there are people working for a better life for themselves and their people.

This is what Pine Ridge is about. Telling the stories of these people trying to break a cycle of poverty that is generations in the making; hoping to reclaim the identify of a once great and proud people.
