We believe that whatever you do, do it for the betterment of those around you. The Little Buzzard Films Initiative is an effort to do just that. To use passion for story telling through filmmaking and elevate stories that need a platform.

In addition to traditional documentary fundraising methods, ten percent of every dollar earned from projects completed through Little Buzzard Creative and Little Buzzard Weddings goes here, to one of our ongoing projects.

Pine Ridge: Reclaiming the Circle

Pine Ridge, South Dakota is home to the Lakota people. Nestled in the shadow of Mount Rushmore, the reservation's story is a long and dark one. Drug abuse alcoholism, unemployment, and poverty are rampant. Over two centuries of physical and spiritual oppression have left an entire people and their way of life on the brink. 

Pine Ridge hopes to fill that void, to provide historical perspective surrounding the reservation. While also weaving in stories of real people living there trying to break a cycle of poverty that is generations in the making; hoping to reclaim the identify of a once great and proud people.
